Prerequisites: Knowledge of Italian Literature and of its History, at least basical.
Objectives: LEARNING OUTCOMES: The aim of the course is to provide knowledge of a genre of the history of Italian literature, crossing it from its origins to the nineteenth century. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: Knowing how to contextualize the genre of short stories within Italian literature, also in its relations with European literatures. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: Acquisition of the ability to analyze a text from an historical and literary perspective, referring to his genre. MAKING JUDGEMENTS: Ability to find textual hermeneutic interpretations and solutions independently. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Language's accuracy in the exposition of topics related to the texts analyzed.
