Prerequisites: For students in the Philosophy degree course, the possibility of taking this course is in the third year.
Objectives: Learning outcomes: To illustrate the fundamental themes of bioethics and the concept of 'global bioethics' so that students be enabled to orient themselves consciously and critically about this broad and complex horizon. Knowledge and understanding: Develop an appropriate awareness of the issues addressed and acquire the necessary background knowledge. Applying knowledge and understanding: Ability to develop an adequately argued reflection on the issues addressed. Making judgements: Ability to orient oneself among the most influential lines of thought in relation to the topics addressed and the ability to gather relevant information about them. Communication skills: Development of the ability to communicate with specialist and non-specialist interlocutors about the content of the topics addressed. Learning skills: Enhancement of the ability to work independently, also considering the possibility of more advanced studies.
Office hours: Nei giorni di lezione dalle 8 alle 9 e dalle 11 alle 12.30. Di norma almeno un giorno la settimana nei periodi nei quali non si svolge attivita' didattica, secondo il calendario consultabile su didattica.web.
