Politica, democrazie e migrazioni, UTET, 2023 4) Dispensa sull'Africa diffusa dal docente LEARNING OUTCOMES: - to promote spatial analysis skills so as to understand the importance of scale and to be able to evaluate and interpret the meaning of spatial differences and their variability over time; - to improve understanding of the links between social and environmental dynamics and their implications for means of livelihood for people, the exploitation of the earth and environmental changes; - taking care of a globalized vision of facts and problems, proposing different models of interpretation and conceptual tools to operate in an increasingly interconnected world; - educating on the advantages and limits of tools such as GIS and GPS in the acquisition and use of geographic information. In the second part: The Student must be able to understand the relationship between space and society, how this is influenced. He must be able to identify an area of "development" in its various meanings, understand the power relationships between actors capable of modifying the geography of a territory. He will learn to identify the different parts of the African territory and their different characteristics. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: The student will memorize methods of analysis and become familiar with geography and geographical scales. He will also be able to manipulate concepts such as: Geographical changes, circulation of flows, globalization and globalization APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:The student will be able to carry out geographic reflections and analyze local phenomena on a planetary scale. It will manage independently to make connections of scale between different parts of the world and different elements such as population, politics, culture. MAKING JUDGMENT: The student will be able to identify elements characterizing geography in different parts of the world and independently compose his own understanding framework. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: The student will be able to construct a speech to reach an exposition of his thesis with different scale references. He will be able to communicate concepts of globalization through cases of the African continent.
