  • Objectives: LEARNING OUTCOMES: The aim of the course is to provide the basic knowledge of the psychology of food consumption, of the principles and mechanisms that regulate food choices, of the conscious / unconscious decision-making processes that characterize them. Particular attention will be paid to the analysis of purchasing mechanisms and advertising with the aim of understanding the dynamics to better build effective experiential events. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: Know and analyze the psycho-social theories and studies that guide people's daily eating behavior. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: Knowing how to use with adequate mastery the knowledge of psychological mechanisms related to eating behavior to be able to better construct activities of planning, consulting, programming and enhancement of food products. MAKING JUDGEMENTS: To be able to apply the acquired knowledge also in new contexts, in which the touristic development is going to be promoted. COMMUNICATION SKILLS:Ability to communicate the concepts of Food Behavior Psychology with language relevance LEARNING SKILLS:To succeed in applying the disciplinary knowledge acquired in the classroom in the planning of territorial events connected to the food and wine offer.
