  • Objectives: TEACHING METHOD The teaching method adopted is divided into two parts: - theoretical part, for the analysis of the evolutionary scenario of tourism in the Information Age - learning part through case studies and realization of a project work to take the final exam EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES EDUCATIONAL GOALS: To provide students with the basics of web marketing in the tourism sector KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: To provide students with a general understanding of the sociological and economic phenomena that move the Information Age KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: To introduce students to web marketing tools and channels useful for structuring a media plan, through the use of different online channels (social media, search engines, websites, email marketing, mobile marketing, influencer marketing, blogging, SEO techniques) TRANSVERSAL SKILLS MAKING JUDGMENTS: Understanding how to communicate, promote and market a destination or a tourism activity on the web, developing independent judgment in choosing the different uses of web marketing tools COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Understand the peer-to-peer online communication rules of communities and new media, in order to develop promo-marketing skills in line with the dictates of online communication LEARNING SKILLS: At the end of the course, students will be able to: Produce a project work to create a project capable of promoting a tourism business through social media channels. PROGRAM The program is aimed at providing a general framework for the use of web marketing in the enhancement, including economic, and in the promotion of the territory and of tourist goods and services linked to Made in Italy. All is aimed at providing a strategic vision in the creation of an online business model framed in the Information Age and in the evolutionary perspective of the web and the consumer. At the end of the course the students will carry out a project work they will create an online business model, from its strategic definition to its operational implementation with the creation of a Marketing Funnel and a Landing Page
