Prerequisites: Participation prerequisites: None. The workshop is open to all interested students, of any background. No previous theatrical experience is required.
Objectives: The laboratory offers to students of any background the opportunity to know and understand ancient drama through theatrical activity and an in-depth itinerary. It aims at providing basic knowledge about ancient theater and basic competence for reading of ancient drama, to improve in-depth analysis and interpretation, also through bibliographical research and autonomous scientific investigation. Through research and theatrical activity students will refine their communicative skills and experience a specific learning mode, which allows them to interpret ancient drama in a personal and pragmatical way, also through discussion and exchange of ideas and opinions with fellow students.
