  • Objectives: LEARNING OUTCOMES: To provide each student with a solid historical, theoretical and technical knowledge of the compositional dynamics of writing for the contemporary scene, intended both as dramatic textuality and as an articulation of the different linguistic codes in spectacular practices KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: understanding the different form of theatre in its cultural and historical context. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: at the end of the course, students will be able to analyze different forms of plays, against their historical, cultural and literary background. MAKING JUDGEMENTS Students will be able to understand and independently analyze plays. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: The students will be able to share ideas and communicate what they learnt. LEARNING SKILLS: The student will be solicited for research activities: the lectures will be carried out actively with discussions in order to solve problems. The lessons will be accompanied by re_elaboration activities carried out individually by the students, comparing themselves with the sources and with the scientific bibliography in Italian and English.
