  • Prerequisites: Basic�knowledge�in�Ethomusicology�(6�CFU�in�undergraduated�program).�Basic�knowledge�of�English.
  • Objectives: KNOWLEDGE�AND�UNDERSTANDING�Master�level�knowledge�and�understanding�about�the�theoretical�issues�and�the�methods�of�Ethomusicology�and�Anthropology�of�music. APPLYING�KNOWLEDGE�AND�UNDERSTANDING�to�musical�repertoires�(in�particular�in�oral�tradition),�their�features�and�their�relationship�with�socio-cultural�contexts,�using�ethnomusicological�and�anthropological�methodologies. MAKING�JUDGEMENTS��through�a�critical�approaches�to�the�scientific�production�� COMMUNICATION�SKILLS�using�scientific�terminology�in�the�field�of�Ethnomusicology�and�Cultural�Anthropology. LEARNING�SKILLS�will�be�enhanced�also�in�view�of�research�activities:�the�lessons�will�be�carried�out�using�different�metodologies,�and�using�scientific�bibliography�in�the�field�of�Ethnomusicology�and�Cultural�Anthropology�in�Italian�and�also�in�english.��Supplementary�activities�will�be�included. BLEARNING�OUTCOMES:�Knowledge�of�the�musical�phenomenon�considered�in�the�course,�observing�it�in�relation�to�the�historical,�sociological�and�cultural�development. KNOWLEDGE�AND�UNDERSTANDING:�Knowledge�and�understanding�of�the�theoretical�and�methodological�foundations�of�Popular�Music. APPLYING�KNOWLEDGE�AND�UNDERSTANDING:�Apply�the�notions�learned�during�the�lessons,�also�in�the�context�of�individual�research�works. MAKING�JUDGEMENTS:Making�judgements�and�communication�skills�using�scientific�terminology�in�the�field�of�ethnomusicology�and�popular�music�studies. � LEARNING�SKILLS:�To�obtain�full�autonomy�in�the�study�and�research�of�sources.
