  • Objectives: LEARNING OUTCOMES: the Workshop of Musìc Bibliography is mainly focused on "Clori. Archivio della cantata italiana", activated within the "Centro studi sulla cantata italiana". The project has been underway for a long time and is supported by the collaboration of numerous national and international research centers and universities. The workshop consists of the creation of bibliographic records concerning the repertoire of vocal chamber music from the seventeenth to the early nineteenth century. Students will acquire skills related to: - recording manuscripts and musical prints according to international cataloguing criteria; - transcription of manuscript texts from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries and the consequent conversion of the texts originally placed in the musical score - analytical description of the music - research on a specific vocal chamber repertoire between the sixteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
